Role Description
This is a part-time role for a Supply Chain Manager. The role involves supporting the planning, coordination, and optimization of supply chain operations to ensure efficient sourcing, inventory management, and distribution processes. Responsibilities include monitoring supply chain performance, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, assisting with procurement activities, and supporting logistics and inventory management. The position also includes analyzing operational data, tracking shipments, identifying process improvements, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and supply chain standards. The candidate will contribute to demand forecasting, vendor management, and process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Additional responsibilities include preparing reports, maintaining accurate records, resolving supply chain-related issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across procurement, logistics, and distribution functions. The role requires strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple supply chain-related tasks effectively in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications
• Knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, procurement, and inventory control processes
• Familiarity with supplier coordination, vendor management, and transportation logistics
• Understanding of inventory management, demand planning, and warehouse operations
• Ability to analyze operational data and support supply chain decision-making
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in spreadsheet tools and supply chain management software
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to prepare accurate reports and maintain detailed operational records
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Supply chain or logistics-related certifications are a plus
• Passion for continuous learning, operational efficiency, and supply chain optimization
