As an Manager, Business Execution team member, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting international business to develop and execute its strategy while ensuring strong governance and financial discipline. Working closely with the Head of Business Execution, International and the Managing Director, International,you will provide high‑quality analysis, insights, reporting, and decision support that link strategic objectives to financial outcomes. The role requires a strong understanding of Southeast Asia markets and banking environments, with deep knowledge of banking regulations, particularly across Australia (APRA) and Southeast Asia.

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Drive short‑,medium‑ and long‑term financial performance by analysing business results, key drivers, and emerging trends.
  • Translate complex data into clear, meaningful insights to support informed decision‑making.
  • Support the communication and delivery of the business's strategic direction to senior leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Align stakeholders across ANZ to optimise outcomes and drive whole of bank performance.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with peers,stakeholders, and enablement functions including Finance, Communications, and Marketing.
  • Deliver timely, high‑quality reporting and analysis to monitor performance and address business issues.
  • Support the design, planning, and implementation of initiatives across segments and countries.
  • Contribute to projects by providing business‑unit context and influencing delivery, messaging, and outcomes.
  • Ensure regulatory, operational, and risk implications are identified, managed, and considered in all decisions.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will bring the following:

  • Strong understanding of Australian, New Zealand and Southeast Asia markets and banking environments, with the ability to apply regional context to business decisions.
  • Deep knowledge of banking regulations, particularly across Southeast Asia and Australia (APRA), including licensing requirements,application processes, and liquidation activities.
  • Business knowledge and a cultural understanding of international markets which ANZ operates.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with experience delivering complex initiatives, ideally within transformation or change environments.
  • Proven ability to operate comfortably in ambiguous and evolving contexts.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management capabilities, able to engage,influence, and align senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, including clear reporting,presentations, and the ability to convey complex information simply.
  • Highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and deliver outcomes to tight timelines.
