Warehouse Manager

1. Operations Management

• Oversee receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods

• Ensure timely dispatch and accurate order fulfillment

• Monitor daily workflow and productivity

2. Inventory Control

• Maintain accurate stock records

• Conduct regular stock counts and audits

• Prevent stock loss, damage, or shrinkage

• Manage stock rotation (FIFO / LIFO)

3. Staff Supervision

• Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse employees

• Assign duties and manage shifts

• Monitor staff performance and discipline

4. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations (e.g., Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards in the U.S.)

• Maintain a clean and hazard-free environment

• Conduct safety training and inspections

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records

• Prepare operational and performance reports

• Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and other departments

6. Cost & Resource Management

• Control warehouse operating costs

• Manage equipment maintenance

• Optimize storage space utilization
