Operations tasks included but not limited to: Mechanical, Electrical, Optical assembly and test. Use of vacuum systems. Bulk and intricate cleaning of parts and assemblies. Packing. Completion of relevant electronics records.
Carry out training of fellow employees, according to Company's training, work instructions and as per the grading structure.
Work within Company's policies and procedures regarding safety, quality, material control and maintain high levels of workmanship and cleanliness.
Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending and implementing preventative and corrective measures, working with engineering to introduce new products.
Highly adaptable approach and willing to transition between departments to fulfill evolving business needs.
Carry out all reasonable requests from the leadership community.
Prerequisites:
Minimum N Levels, Technical Certificate and above.
Relevant experience in a manufacturing or process driven environment.
Accuracy and attention to details.
Be competent with recording data in spreadsheet or in process control system.
Comfortable with test equipment, keen to learn new equipment functionality.
Demonstrates awareness of different ways of work, offer workable solutions and make suggestions for improvements within their own area of work.
Effectively work within multi-disciplinary teams to a common goal.
