Our client is a reputable shipping company looking to hire Technical Superintendent to join their team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily technical operations of assigned LPG carriers
- Monitor vessel performance, machinery health & fuel efficiency
- Plan and execute dry-docking, repairs, and maintenance schedules
- Ensure compliance with PMS, safety standards, and gas industry regulations
- Liaise with classification societies, flag states & service providers
- Manage budgets and control costs for assigned vessels
- Lead technical investigations & ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Drive energy efficiency, dual-fuel (ME-C / LPG engines), and sustainability initiatives
- Conduct vessel inspections, audits, and onboard crew support visits
REQUIREMENTS
- Chief Engineer COC Class 1 (Motor) with LPG vessel experience
- 35 years of shore-based experience as a Technical Superintendent (LPG)
- Experience planning & supervising dry-docks and gas system maintenance
- Excellent communication, leadership & stakeholder management skills
- Willing to travel for LPG fleet inspections and audits
