We are seeking a qualified and proactive Technical Superintendents to join our clients technical team in Singapore. This role requires the incumbent to have sailed on Tanker or LPG vessels till Chief Engineer and currently overseeing a fleet of Tanker or LPG vessels onshore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day technical operations of assigned tankers and/or gas carriers.
- Monitor vessel performance, fuel efficiency, and machinery health.
- Plan and supervise routine maintenance, dry-dockings, and repairs.
- Coordinate with onboard crew and ensure compliance with planned maintenance systems (PMS).
- Liaise with classification societies, flag states, and third-party service providers.
- Manage budgets for assigned vessels, track expenditures, and control costs.
- Investigate technical incidents and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
- Assist in the development and execution of energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
Requirements:
- Chief Engineer, COC Class 1 - Either on Tanker or LPG vessels
- Proficient experience working on ME-C Engines (Must have)
- 3-5 Years working experience onshore as a Technical Superintendent overseeing Tanker or LPG Vessels
- Completed several drydocks
- Proficient in MS Office and vessel management software
- Willingness to travel for vessel inspections, audits, and dry-dock supervision.
