The company is a highly integrated Oil & Gas organization with operations across Asia. Combining large-scale physical processing with a forward-looking commercial strategy, they are currently hiring a Shipping Operator (Tanker) in Singapore to oversee the end-to-end operational management of tanker voyages

Role

Reporting to the Head of Shipping. The Shipping Operator is responsible for executing and managing end-to-end tanker operations to support refinery supply and trading activities. This includes coordinating vessel movements, communicating with shipowners, terminals, and agents, handling documentation, monitoring voyage progress.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Maritime Studies, or a related field, and 2 to 5 years of experience in tanker operations-ideally within oil trading or shipping-who has strong knowledge of shipping documents, charter parties, and demurrage, is familiar with maritime regulations, with excellent communication and attention to detail.
