About the Role
We are seeking talented Design Engineers to join our engineering team for an upcoming offshore oil & gas redevelopment project. This is an office-based role in Singapore, focusing on the FEED and Detailed Engineering stage. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality design and engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review engineering designs, drawings, and technical documents for offshore platforms, jackets, subsea pipelines, and supporting facilities.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant international codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Participate in design reviews, safety studies (HAZOP/HAZID), and technical discussions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (process, structural, piping, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation).
- Support project engineers and project managers to ensure deliverables meet schedule, cost, and quality targets.
- Prepare material requisitions, technical evaluations, and liaise with vendors where necessary.
- Work on 2D/3D modeling (AutoCAD, SmartPlant, PDMS, E3D or similar software) depending on discipline.
- Ensure proper documentation control and compliance with project procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil / Structural / Electrical / Instrumentation / Chemical or equivalent).
- 2-8 years of experience in design engineering for oil & gas projects (offshore experience preferred).
- Knowledge of offshore design standards (API, ASME, IEC, ISO, etc.).
- Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, SmartPlant, PDMS, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in offshore oil & gas projects (platforms, jackets, pipelines, subsea facilities).
- Safety awareness and familiarity with HSE design integration.
- Certifications in safety design (HAZOP/HAZID participation) are an advantage.
