Laser Cladding Technician / Assistant Engineer (Metal Machining / Oil & Gas)

• Program, operate and maintain laser cladding equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Prepare substrates by cleaning and pre-treating surfaces to ensure effective bonding.
• Select appropriate cladding materials and parameters based on job requirement.
• Apply laser cladding techniques to repair and enhance components, following work instruction and best practices.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure the integrity and consistency of cladded surfaces.
• Collaborate with supervisor & engineers to troubleshoot and optimize processes.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including consumable usage and process parameters.
• Perform routine maintenance on laser cladding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and quality.
• Perform other assignments and duties as required.
• Understand and aware of the impact of each activity to the company and its environment and must minimize the detrimental results as required.
• Ensure HS&E policies and procedures are followed at all times.
