Our client, an established global ship broking firm, is looking for a Trainee ShipBroker to join their Handysize team.
Job Description
- Responsibilities would include negotiating and fixing of ships.
- Drawing up full recap upon fixing the deal.
- Develop new customer base whilst building strong relationship with existing customers.
- Provide market updates and research for clients.
- Maintain existing client relationships
Requirements
- A good university degree majoring in Maritime Studies or a related discipline
- Knowledge of the Offshore market will be an advantage
- Articulate with good inter-personal skills
- Possess strong communication skills and customer oriented
- Expected to work independently
