JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (OPERATIONS)
1. Expertly preparing various types of coffee and non-coffee beverages according to the Company's SOP and recipes
2. Tailoring coffee orders to meet specific customer preferences, such as adjusting sweetness levels, milk alternatives, and flavourings
3. Providing friendly, efficient, and personalized service to customers
4. Operating and maintaining coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders,
brewers, and other tools. Ensuring equipment cleanliness and functionality
5. Upholding high standards of quality in every aspect of coffee preparation, including coffee
bean selection, grinding, tamping, and extraction
6. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the coffee bar area, including workstations,
serving counters, and dining areas. Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
7. Assisting with receiving, storing, and rotating stock as necessary
8. Working collaboratively with other team members, including fellow baristas, kitchen staff, and management
9. Recommending additional menu items, such as pastries, snacks, or merchandise
10. Staying informed about coffee industry trends, new brewing techniques, and specialty
coffee varieties. Participating in training sessions and workshops to improve coffee knowledge and skills
11. Providing good customer service, collect and respond to customers feedback appropriately and promptly
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (MANAGEMENT)
1. Fully responsible for the daily operation of the outlet, including the standardised implementation of coffee
2. Formulate and optimise the operation process, control costs (food ingredients, manpower, energy consumption, etc.), and improve the profitability of the outlet
3. Supervise food safety, environmental sanitation and equipment maintenance to ensure compliance with industry standards
4. Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the bar and outlet's environment to ensure food safety, customer comfort and satisfaction
5. Conduct monthly inventory checks and report on the outlets stock count
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (TRAINING)
1. Educate and guide newly joined staff (full- and part-timers), on proper coffee preparation techniques, service standards, and equipment operation, with a focus on exceptional latte art and pour over techniques
2. Develop and deliver training programs, providing feedback on the performance of Senior Baristas, Baristas and Junior Baristas
3. Ensure consistency in coffee quality and service across all Greybox Coffee branded outlets
4. Stay updated on coffee trends and techniques to ensure the ongoing improvement of coffee and service quality.
