Job Description

The Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy & Development plays a critical role in shaping the organisation's long‑term strategic direction and driving value creation initiatives. This role is responsible for driving corporate strategy development, evaluating inorganic growth opportunities, and supporting executive decision‑making through rigorous analysis, insight, and commercial judgment. The position partners closely with senior leadership, business unit heads, and external stakeholders to execute strategic priorities and M&A initiatives. This role reports in Chief Strategy Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development and execution of the enterprise‑wide corporate strategy in alignment with business objectives and shareholder value creation.
  • Conduct market, industry, and competitive analyses to inform strategic planning and identify growth opportunities, risks, and emerging trends.
  • Translate strategy into executable initiatives, defining clear priorities, milestones, and success metrics.
  • Prepare high‑quality strategic materials and recommendations for the Executive Committee and Board.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritise inorganic growth opportunities including mergers, acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
  • Lead end‑to‑end transaction execution, including commercial due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, negotiation, and post‑deal integration planning.
  • Coordinate with legal, finance, tax, risk, and external advisors to ensure robust transaction governance and execution discipline.

Stakeholder Engagement& Leadership

  • Act as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to drive alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Engage effectively with external partners, advisors, and counterparties as required.

Minimum Qualifications &Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in corporate strategy, corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience working with executive leadership and board‑level stakeholders.
  • Track record of successfully executing strategic initiatives or transactions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
