Deal Evaluation
- Evaluate private equity investment opportunities in new and existing markets
- Assist with initial screening, financial analysis, and investment thesis development to support investment decisions (e.g. market, industry and competitive assessments)
- Build robust valuation models using target company's key performance indicators, and analyse comparable companies and precedent transactions to support target company's valuation
- Prepare investment memoranda to the internal Investment Committee
Transaction Execution
- Coordinate and manage due diligence processes across legal, accounting, tax, commercial, and operational workstreams
- Work closely with external advisors (investment banks, consultants, legal counsel, tax advisor) to drive diligence and execution timelines
- Support negotiation of transaction terms, financing structures, and purchase agreements
- Manage core deliverables across the deal process (e.g. investment memo, transaction documentation, and closing materials)
Portfolio Management
- Support in the management of portfolio companies, including implementation of post-investment operational enhancements and preparation of monthly/quarterly reports
- Analyse financial results, KPIs, and market trends prepare portfolio review materials
- Support exit planning and execution, including evaluation of options and preparation of exit material
Stakeholder Interaction
- Contribute to Investment Committee materials and investors reporting packs

Qualifications &Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution (MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred)
Experience
- 5-10+years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or related fields with focus on M&A
Technical Skills
- Advanced financial modelling and valuation expertise, including DCFs, LBOs, comparable companies and precedent transactions
- Preparing transaction materials and deliverables including but not limited to: teasers, pitchbooks and management presentation
- Completing legal documents such as NDAs with attorneys and other counterparties
- Strong understanding of capital structures, debt financing, and transaction mechanics
- High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

- Basic understanding in written and verbal Mongolian is preferred
