What the day will look like

  • Account management of FSPG Singapore's client portfolio, delivering a consistently high and reliable service standard
  • Implement and improve performances and development, mentoring of junior brokers/colleagues, ensuring the healthy performance of the team supporting best-in-class broking and advisory to clients, and to ensure compliance and minimize E&O risks to the business
  • Support the manager with the development of pipeline, collaboration with the various stakeholders, to implementation of strategy to ensure the profitability of the business and market share. Monitor performance & results and to ensure targets are achieved
  • Understand and articulate the value proposition of the broader solutions Aon offers, and identify Aon's differentiators and support its deployment to provide holistic solutions to clients
  • Support and implement broking excellence initiatives: e.g. Aon Client Promise, Structured Portfolio Solutions, Aon Brokers Guide, Standard Contracts et. Al
  • Champion client-related initiatives and ensure the delivery of distinctive client values
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Regional team and the broader Aon colleagues and stakeholders to identify and implement planning, strategy & execution for growth
  • Develop and grow with focus on segments as assigned by the Head of FSPG, and support the sales initiative
  • Champion Cyber initiatives for the FSPG team and the broader CRS team
  • Execute local market plans and develop a pipeline of opportunities within the FSPG and Cyber segment, to convert those prospects to clients
  • Perform other duties and tasks as reasonably assigned by your manager

As a senior member of the team:

  • Ensure and monitor compliance & controls for self and team with respect to all Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) & Aon mandated processes & standards including but not limited to Non-Negotiables, Aon Client Promise and Aon Broking Guide
  • You shall also comply with the requirements of any regulatory body relevant to your duties, including but not limited to the Guidelines on Fit and Proper Criteria prescribed from time to time by the MAS
  • Assist to develop, optimise and implement efficient operational performance framework to support best-in-class broking as well as to reduce E&O risks in the course of the discharge of their dutiesand any additional duties that may be allocated to you by the Company from time to time.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • 5 years or more relevant experience in financial lines
  • Background in Law or within the financial services would be advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (word, excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work with others under pressure, project-manage and multi-task
