Job Purpose
The Community Partnerships Senior Executive is responsible for developing, managing, and sustaining strategic partnerships with corporate and individual supporters. This includes securing and growing support through donations, sponsorships, fundraising initiatives, and events.
A core component of the role is the effective management of records and data relating to corporate and individual stakeholders, including donors and volunteers. The role also focuses on identifying, cultivating, and securing high-value relationships with key corporate funders to support Boys Town's major events and campaigns.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUTABILITIES
A) FUNCTIONAL
Fundraising
. Support the Community Partnerships Manager in securing sponsorships for major fundraising initiatives through strong proposals, grant writing, and targeted sponsor research.
. Plan and deliver a range of fundraising events and manage key annual initiatives, including Flag Day, Charity Dinner, and fundraising appeals.
. Support in the tracking of the Community Partnerships income and expenditure budget in alignment with departmental plans and fundraising strategy.
. Carry out assigned work in compliance with the fundraising policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including timely reporting to IRAS, MSF, the Charity Portal, and NCSS.
. Oversee fundraising administration, including donor correspondence, acknowledgment letters, and the maintenance of accurate donor and fundraising records.
Partnerships
. Maintain and develop the existing portfolio of corporate and volunteer relationships
. Provide strong account management to maximize income for Boys Town
. Secure retention of corporate supporters and grant-makers
. Promote all Boys Town fundraising and communication activities to relevant corporate partners
Donation Process
. Develop proficiency in CRM systems, including Salesforce and other relevant software, to manage and maintain the benefactors database effectively.
. Extract, analyse, and manage donation data from multiple giving platforms, such as Giving.sg, Give.Asia, and other digital donation channels etc.
B) LEADERSHIP
. Represent the department when nominated to participate in project meetings
. Represent the organization when delegated to participate at external meetings
. Communicate partnerships related briefings and announcements to the organization
C) ORGANIZATIONAL
. Professionally represent Boys Town with volunteers, benefactors, government bodies, and the public
. To participate actively in all fundraising activities as well as any other commitments that Boys Town undertakes
. To work in close collaboration with other staff, departments and components of Boys Town
. The Executive Director and or his/her representative may assign you any other duties that are within reason for the operation needs of Boys Town
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
. Knowledge of partnership development and fundraising practices
. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
. Understanding of relevant industry and market trends
. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
. Ability to develop basic graphic and promotional materials
. Database management and data analysis skills
REQUIREMENTS
Average Qualifications & years of relevant experience
. Degree in Business/Social Sciences/Arts or other relevant degrees.
. 3 years or more relevant experience in the social service sector (position offered may be dependent on level of experience)
. Experienced/knowledge in UI and UX designs preferred.
. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
. Self-starter and dynamic.
. Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, flexible and team player
