Senior/ M&E Engineer

Job Description:

• Lead the design and coordination of M&E systems, including ACMV, electrical, ELV, plumbing, sanitary, fire protection etc
• Conduct feasibility studies, prepare engineering reports, and review drawings and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Plan, manage, and supervise M&E works across all project phases.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of M&E systems.
• Monitor project progress and resolve technical issues on-site.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure all M&E works meet design and safety standards.
• Enforce workplace safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of M&E systems.
• Work closely with contractors and vendors to ensure accurate delivery of materials and systems.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems.
• Ensure that systems function effectively and meet client requirements.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, technical documents, and completion reports.
• Maintain project documentation and as-built drawings.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in M&E engineering, 5-8 years of experience for Senior position.
• Proficient in M&E design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP) and project management
• tools.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore's building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
