Senior Interior Designer / Workplace Strategist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Designer to join our team. This role focuses on the critical early stages of project development: Test Fitting and Space Planning. You will be responsible for translating client requirements into viable, high-efficiency layouts across diverse environments, including high-end corporate offices, R&D laboratories, and controlled cleanroom facilities.

Core Responsibilities

• Test-Fit Development: Produce accurate space plans and test fits to determine the feasibility of potential sites for corporate and technical use.

• Technical Planning: Design layouts for laboratories and cleanrooms that account for specialized equipment, workflow optimization, and strict safety protocols.

• Cross-Sector Integration: Balance the aesthetic requirements of modern corporate workplaces with the rigorous technical demands of wet and dry labs.

• Compliance & Coordination: Ensure all layouts adhere to local building codes, fire safety regulations, and environmental health standards (e.g., ISO classifications for cleanrooms).

• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with project managers and technical consultants to refine spatial requirements based on MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and HVAC constraints.

Key Requirements

• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential experience with Revit or Rhino for BIM integration is a strong advantage.

• Sector Experience: Proven track record in space planning for corporate offices. Specific experience with Lab/Cleanroom design (understanding pressure regimes, gowning areas, and chemical storage) is highly preferred.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with workplace safety standards and technical specifications for controlled environments.

• Precision: An analytical mindset with the ability to work within tight tolerances and complex technical briefs.

• Communication: Ability to present layout options clearly to clients, explaining the why behind spatial configurations.
