Interior Designer

Job Summary

We are a local renovation SME looking for a responsible and detail-oriented individual to handle site surveys, prepare design drawings, coordinate with clients and contractors, and ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site measurements, take photos, and understand client requirements
• Prepare 2D layouts and 3D design drawings
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for costing and budgeting
• Present designs to clients and make revisions based on feedback
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure work follows approved designs
• Liaise with clients on changes and resolve issues
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion
• Prepare as-built drawings and Operation & Maintenance Manuals (O&M)
• Maintain proper documentation and confidentiality
• Communicate clearly and work well both independently and in a team

Requirements

• Diploma in a relevant field
• Proficient in AutoCAD, 3ds Max, and SketchUp
• Good communication and presentation skills (bilingual preferred)
• Basic knowledge of costing and budgeting

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of construction, carpentry, and M&E works
• Understanding of site coordination processes
• Basic graphic design skills
