Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with process, mechanical, civil, and electrical teams to ensure seamless integration of piping systems with other disciplines.
- Coordinate with procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure timely delivery, installation, and commissioning of piping systems.
- Prepare piping-related project deliverables, including technical drawings, specifications, data sheets, and material take-offs.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations, perform technical evaluations, and review piping construction drawings, isometrics, and support drawings.
- Lead piping design reviews, coordination meetings, and vendor technical discussions.
- Manage piping engineering scope, schedule, and budget to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical / Piping Engineering Diploma holders will also be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of piping design and engineering experience for degree holders at least 8 years for diploma holders.
- For senior positions, at least 10 years of relevant experience, including leadership or project management exposure.
- Strong expertise in piping materials, layout and arrangement, stress analysis, and overall piping system design.
- Solid knowledge of international and local standards (ASME, ANSI, BS EN, PUB Singapore guidelines).
- Proficient in software applications such as Navisworks, Bentley View, AutoCAD, piping engineering tools, and MS Office.
- Experience in process plants (e.g., wastewater treatment plants, sludge incineration plants) will be an added advantage.
