We are looking for a Business Analyst (Techno-Functional) who can effectively bridge the gap
between business stakeholders and technology teams. The role involves understanding
business needs, translating them into technical requirements, and ensuring seamless
implementation. Candidates with experience in the Insurance domain and a foundational
understanding of Data Engineering concepts will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document
requirements.
. Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development
teams.
. Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear
communication and alignment.
. Work closely with developers, data engineers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality
solutions.
. Prepare and maintain BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and process workflows.
. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and
retrospectives.
. Support data-related initiatives by understanding data flows, ETL processes, and
reporting requirements.
. Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring delivered solutions meet business
expectations.
. Identify and recommend process improvements and system enhancements.
. Ensure compliance with business rules, regulatory standards, and domain-specific
requirements (especially Insurance).
Required Skills & Qualifications
. Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
. Min 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a techno-functional role.
. Strong experience in requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation.
. Experience in the Insurance domain (Life, Health, or General Insurance).
. Ability to understand and translate business problems into technical solutions.. Strong understanding of Data Engineering including ETL processes, Data pipelines and
data flow & SQL and data querying
. Experience working with cross-functional teams (business, engineering, QA).
. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
. Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, SQL, Excel, Power BI/Tableau.
