About the Role
We are looking for a driven, organized, and creative Senior Associate to join our team. This is a key delivery role-you will own the day-to-day operations of APC's communications channels, lead the end-to-end delivery of member engagement events, and provide essential support across programme communications, content production, and in upholding APC's reputation and credibility across the sector.
You will work closely with the Senior Manager, while supporting the broader team's communication needs, to ensure APC's voice is consistent and fresh, our members are well-informed and engaged, and our events consistently provide value and run smoothly. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a dynamic, small-team environment and wants to grow their skills across the full spectrum of communications and events work.
We are looking for someone with strong communications and event management skills, who is passionate about learning and contributing to the philanthropy and social impact sector in Asia, and highly capable in multi-tasking, connecting the dots, and operating flexibly across ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
This is an exciting moment to join APC. As we step into our second decade-with new leadership, an evolving membership and philanthropy landscape, and greater ambition for a more just and sustainable Asia-you have the opportunity to actively shape what APC looks, sounds, and feels like for the years ahead.
This is a role for someone who finds meaning in building something, while keeping the boat steady as we navigate uncharted waters.

1. Institutional Communications
- Own the development, production, and delivery of APC's newsletters to internal and external stakeholders (monthly and quarterly), with editorial direction from the Senior Manager
- Manage APC's social media presence, primarily on LinkedIn, including content planning, creation, scheduling, and engagement
- Maintain APC's overall event and marketing calendar
- Update and maintain APC's website content (with support from broader team), including liaising with technical vendors on maintenance and security issues
- Draft and disseminate ad-hoc member communications, announcements, and other unscheduled communications as needed
2. Events and Logistics
- Lead end-to-end management of APC's event invitation cycle, including copywriting, internal coordination, dissemination, and RSVP tracking-as well as supporting the preparation of related marketing and communication collaterals
- Lead or support the organization of smaller-scale events, including managing logistics, vendors and providing on-site support and coordination as needed.
- Support overall event ideation, curation, and programming with the team
3. Content Production and Programme Amplification
- Support production of thought leadership content, including formatting, proofreading, and coordinating with external partners and internal stakeholders
- Support development of programme collaterals, outreach materials, presentation decks, and other APC communication assets
- Lead or support the dissemination and amplification of published content across APC's channels
4. Brand and Administrative Support
- Ensure brand consistency across all communication outputs, in line with APC's brand guidelines, language standards, and SOPs
- Support coordination with external agencies and vendors under the guidance of the Senior Manager
- Assist with other related communications and administrative tasks as needed

- Thoughtful and responsible in the use of AI-bringing a strong editorial lens to ensure outputs are accurate, on-brand, and genuinely authored, even when AI-assisted. You see AI as a productivity tool, not a substitute for critical thinking, original voice, or ideas
- Genuinely interested in philanthropy, civil society, human development, or the social impact sector, with a desire for meaningful, impactful work
