Job Description

Role Overview

This is Sales Executive role combining sales coordination, trade documentation,and logistics operations. You will play a critical role in supporting the end-to-end sales cycle-from quotation and order processing to shipment coordination and payment follow-ups-within a technically driven industrial environment.

KeyResponsibilities

1. Sales Coordination & Order Management

  • Prepare quotations, sales contracts, and proforma invoices
  • Process customer orders and ensure accurate system entry
  • Follow up on order confirmations and delivery timelines
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of sales records

2. Import& Export Documentation

  • Prepare and verify trade documentation (e.g., invoices, packing lists, shipping documents)
  • Ensure accuracy of HS codes, product descriptions, and shipment details
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping lines on bookings

3. Logistics& Shipment Coordination

  • Arrange local deliveries and export shipments
  • Monitor shipment schedules and track cargo status
  • Liaise with warehouse teams on loading schedules and packing requirements
  • Ensure timely submission of shipping documents to customers

4. Payment& Compliance Support

  • Assist in reviewing Letter of Credit (LC) terms and documentation requirements
  • Coordinate with Finance on payment follow-ups (TT / LC)
  • Ensure compliance with trade regulations and internal procedures

5. Internal& Supplier Coordination

  • Communicate with suppliers on production and shipment readiness
  • Support the Sales team with documentation and coordination tasks
  • Act as a key link between Sales, Operations, Logistics, and Finance

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Material Science, or Business Administration
  • Basic understanding of metal materials (e.g., ferrous/non-ferrous, slit coils, shearing processes)
  • Knowledge of Grain Oriented Electrical Steel (GOES) for laminations is an advantage
  • Familiarity with import/export processes and trade documentation preferred
  • Detail-oriented with strong coordination and organisational skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work across multiple stakeholders
