Job Summary
The Sales Account Manager will manage and grow client relationships, drive revenue, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is proactive, client-focused, and skilled in managing multiple accounts to achieve business growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts and build long-term relationships
- Serve as the main point of contact for client needs and inquiries
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products/services
- Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets
- Monitor account performance and prepare regular sales performance reports
- Handle customer issues and resolve disputes in a timely manner
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, support) to deliver solutions
- Maintain organised records of client accounts, interactions, and sales activities
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Sales Account Manager or in a similar sales role
- Prior experience as a sales account manager within the IT infrastructure industry is a plus
- Good understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and customer-focused
- Good verbal and written communication skills
