Job Summary

The Sales Account Manager will manage and grow client relationships, drive revenue, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is proactive, client-focused, and skilled in managing multiple accounts to achieve business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts and build long-term relationships
  • Serve as the main point of contact for client needs and inquiries
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products/services
  • Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets
  • Monitor account performance and prepare regular sales performance reports
  • Handle customer issues and resolve disputes in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, support) to deliver solutions
  • Maintain organised records of client accounts, interactions, and sales activities

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Sales Account Manager or in a similar sales role
  • Prior experience as a sales account manager within the IT infrastructure industry is a plus
  • Good understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, and customer-focused
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
