Retail Sales & Events Operations Executive
Role Overview
We are seeking a Retail & Events Operations Executive to oversee retail performance and event execution across our network.
This role combines planning, coordination, and on-ground execution, ensuring our products are well-positioned in stores and effectively managed during roadshows and activations.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Planning & Execution
- Plan product assortment and stock allocation across retail outlets based on sales performance
- Monitor sell-through and adjust product mix to improve overall performance
- Work closely with merchandisers to ensure in-store execution aligns with plans
- Identify and address gaps in stock availability, visibility, and placement
- Coordinate product launches and in-store refresh initiatives
Inventory Management
- Oversee stock levels across multiple outlets under a consignment model
- Plan and coordinate replenishment and stock transfers between stores
- Maintain a balanced inventory to minimise overstock and stockouts
- Identify slow-moving products and implement stock rotation or return strategies
Roadshows & Events
- Plan and execute roadshows, retail activations, and warehouse sales
- Determine product selection, pricing strategies, and promotional mechanics
- Coordinate logistics including stock preparation, setup, and manpower
- Manage on-site execution to ensure smooth operations and strong sales performance
- Review outcomes and refine future event strategies
Performance Tracking
- Track sales and inventory performance across stores and events
- Identify trends and highlight operational issues
- Provide clear and practical recommendations to improve sell-through
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in retail operations, merchandising, or FMCG
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Proficiency in Excel (lookups and basic analysis)
- Comfortable with both planning work and on-ground execution
- Willing to work weekends when required for events (off days provided)
Salary & Benefits
- $3,000 - $4,000 depending on experience
- Performance-based bonus
