Business Development Executive
You will be responsible for identifying, securing, and launching newclinic locations. This is a hands-on role that spans the full lifecycle ofclinic expansion - from site scouting and feasibility analysis to lease negotiation, setup, and successful opening.
Key Responsibilities
Site Scouting & Feasibility
- Identify high-potential locations (e.g. malls, MRT-linked areas, office clusters, mature estates) and evaluate visibility, footfall, target catchment, and nearby competitors. Present well-supported site proposals with projected patient demand.
Leasing & Negotiation
- Engage with agents, landlords, and mall leasing teams to source and shortlist units. Negotiate rental rates, lease terms, and incentives, and manage LOI and tenancy agreement processes.
Clinic Setup (End-to-End)
- Coordinate with contractors, designers, and internal teams to oversee clinic setup, ensuring timelines are met and the clinic is fully operational from Day 1.
Financial Planning
- Prepare basic financial projections including setup costs, operating expenses, and breakeven analysis to support decision-making on new locations.
Pre-Opening & Launch
- Work with marketing to execute launch strategies, including promotions, local outreach, and partnerships, ensuring a strong patient pipeline before opening.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or related fields.
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, leasing, real estate, or expansion roles (healthcare or retail preferred).
- Experience in site sourcing, lease negotiation, or outlet/clinic setup is a strong advantage.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to evaluate locations using commercial thinking
- Basic financial analysis skills
- Highly organised with strong project management and execution skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects and timelines independently.
- Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
