Regional Finance Manager (SAP/XERO) Portfolio Finance

Sylvan Group is a Singapore-based investment platform managing and supporting a portfolio of operating companies across Asia-Pacific and selected global markets.
As part of our continued regional expansion, we are seeking a hands-on Regional Finance Manager to support financial reporting, consolidation, compliance, and cash flow oversight across multiple portfolio businesses.
Role Overview
This role will work closely with management teams across several portfolio companies to strengthen regional reporting processes, support statutory compliance, and improve consolidation workflows.
The successful candidate will operate within a lean structure and collaborate with external auditors, advisors, and internal stakeholders across jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Financial Reporting
Support monthly and quarterly closing across multiple entities
Assist in preparation of group-level consolidation schedules
Maintain intercompany reconciliations across portfolio companies
Strengthen reporting timelines and accuracy across entities
Audit & Statutory Coordination
Coordinate external audits across multiple jurisdictions
Liaise with local accounting firms and service providers
Support statutory reporting and compliance requirements
Maintain documentation aligned with group reporting standards
SAP Finance Operations
Maintain and enhance finance reporting within SAP
Support finance workflow improvements across entities
Assist with standardisation of reporting practices regionally
Tax & Regulatory Support
Coordinate GST, corporate tax, and withholding tax processes
Work closely with external tax advisors across jurisdictions
Support documentation related to intercompany arrangements where required
Cash Flow Management
Monitor and support cash flow planning across portfolio entities
Track funding requirements and intercompany settlements
Assist management with visibility on liquidity and working capital positions
Process Improvement & Projects
Improve regional consolidation processes
Support finance integration initiatives across portfolio companies
Assist with implementation of internal control enhancements
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
CPA / ACCA preferred
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in regional finance or multi-entity environments
Hands-on SAP experience required
Experience supporting consolidation processes preferred
Experience coordinating audits across jurisdictions
Exposure to regional tax coordination is advantageous
Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable working in a lean structure
Strong communication skills in English required; Korean language preferred
Prior experience supporting investment platforms, regional HQ environments, or portfolio company structures is an advantage.
