Working Hour:
Shift 1:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:15pm, inclusive of 45-min lunch break
- Fridays: 7:00am to 3:45pm, inclusive of 45-min lunch break
- School holidays: 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Shift 2:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 8:15am to 5:30pm, inclusive of 45-min lunch break
- Fridays: 8:45am to 5:30pm, inclusive of 45-min lunch break
- School holidays: 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Experience :
- Minimum 2 year's experience in front desk reception duties.
- Relevant front desk reception experience in schools, especially primary schools, shall be preferred.
Desirable Qualities of Personnel :
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to read, write and converse in English.
- Warm personality with good customer service skills and telephone etiquette skills.
- Able to exercise initiative, work independently & as a team.
Job Scope:
- Attend to all incoming phone calls, enquiries and deliveries promptly.
- Attend to walk-in students, teachers, parents, vendors and school stakeholders with care and empathy.
- Attend to unwell students and coordinate with all relevant stakeholders until student leaves the school safely.
- Provide simple first aid to injured/unwell students and maintain the sick bay including first aid supplies.
- Manage office administrative tasks including using basic Microsoft Office applications (e.g. data entry, preparing Word documents & Excel spreadsheets), office supplies inventory taking and making trips to the Post Office.
- Call & engage with parents on administrative matters e.g. GIRO & Edusave applications, financial aid supporting documents etc.
- Prioritise important and urgent tasks and multi-task across different work areas efficiently.
- Man the General Office reception counter and ensure it is clean and tidy.
- Assist with other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the school e.g. school emergency exercise etc.
