Scope of Services
- The Receptionists will be responsible for providing front desk and administrative support, including but not limited to:
- Attending to all incoming phone calls, enquiries, and deliveries promptly.
- Receiving and assisting walk-in students, teachers, parents, vendors, and other stakeholders with professionalism, care, and empathy.
- Assisting unwell students and coordinating with relevant stakeholders until the student leaves the school safely.
- Providing simple first aid to students and maintaining the sick bay, including monitoring and replenishing first aid supplies.
- Managing office administrative tasks, including use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, data entry), inventory of office supplies, and postal services.
- Engaging parents on administrative matters (e.g., GIRO & Edusave applications, financial aid documentation).
- Prioritising tasks effectively, managing urgent matters, and multi-tasking across different work areas.
- Manning the General Office reception counter, ensuring it remains clean and presentable at all times.
- Assisting with ad-hoc duties as assigned by the school, such as supporting school emergency exercises.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in front desk reception duties.
- Prior experience in school settings, particularly primary schools, will be an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and conversing in English.
- Warm, approachable personality with excellent customer service and telephone etiquette.
- Ability to exercise initiative, work independently, and collaborate as part of a team.
- Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. (inclusive of 45-min lunch break) Fridays: 7:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. (inclusive of 45-min lunch break) School Holidays: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
