. Source materials and equipment for construction.
. Coordinate with supplier and vendors, contract team for Subcon and procurement matter.
. Perform commercial negotiation on pricing, payment terms, the warranty period to meet project timeline budget.
. Prepare PO to successful vendors and ensure correct equipment and quality.
- Plan and manage the sourcing and selection of suppliers for procurement of materials according to established procurement strategies and policies, and standard operating procedures.
- evaluate and shortlist suppliers according to material specifications.
- obtain and compare quotations with quality and quantity in mind.
- negotiate pricing and eventual selection of suppliers.
- attend and check on the delivery of procured materials in accordance with supplier agreement.
- Manage vendors and suppliers through qualification and approval of new suppliers, with the aim to establish an adequate inventory of reliable suppliers to support full production lines and in times of upward demand.
- Undertake the role of a liaison between Suppliers & the Engineering department on technical issues.
- Understand the expectations set and demonstrates personal accountability for keeping own performance on the track.
