Role Purpose / Summary
The Operations Manager is a hands-on role supporting the Chief Operating Officer across client servicing, fund administration and compliance support. This role ensures operational excellence and timely reporting requirements by the family office, including Variable Capital Company (VCC) structures regulated by MAS.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate onboarding/offboarding (AML/KYC, account opening, documentation flow) and support review meetings.
- Maintain accurate client records and respond to ad-hoc requests.
- Liaise with external fund administrators and custodians for reconciliations and reporting.
- Assist in audit preparation: compile supporting schedules, liaise with auditors and accountants, and ensure compliance with MAS and ACRA requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation and approvals for fund incorporations, subscriptions and redemptions.
- Coordinate preparation and filing of statutory reporting obligations for the company, a Capital Markets Services license holder, regulated under the Securities and Futures Act 2001 (SFA).
- Liaise with partners/banks/custodians/vendors for operational matters.
- Maintain business continuity documentation and office administration.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in fund administration, single family/multi-family offices, or wealth management.
- Background in accounting is a plus.
- Familiarity with MAS regulatory requirements for fund structures and VCC framework.
- Proficiency in Excel.
