Network Engineer (ServiceNow)
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping for network devices/services.
- Maintain and validate CMDB CIs and relationships.
- Onboard network assets and dependencies into ServiceNow.
- Troubleshoot discovery issues, patterns, probes, and credentials.
- Ensure CMDB data quality and perform remediation.
- Document processes and onboarding standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 5+ years of network engineering/operations experience.
- Hands-on ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB experience.
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and firewalls.
- Understanding of CI relationships, CMDB, and data governance.
- Python/PowerShell scripting is an advantage.
- Good analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
