Job Description
Responsibilities
- Execute and manage ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping for network devices and services.
- Validate, reconcile, and maintain CMDB Configuration Items (CIs) and relationships.
- Onboard network assets and dependencies into ServiceNow with accurate attributes and mappings.
- Troubleshoot discovery issues and improve discovery patterns, probes, and credentials.
- Ensure CMDB data quality through governance and remediation activities.
- Document onboarding standards, processes, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to support project delivery.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering or operations.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB.
- Strong understanding of network technologies, including routing, switching, and firewalls.
- Knowledge of CI relationships, CMDB data models, and data governance practices.
- Experience in Python or PowerShell scripting for automation is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
