Mutual Fund Product Manager
Private Wealth Management | Singapore
A leading Asian bank with a strong wealth management franchise is seeking a Mutual Fund Product Manager to join its Private Wealth Management platform in Singapore.
This role will focus on fund selection, product strategy, and investment advisory support, working closely with Relationship Managers and Investment Consultants to deliver high-quality investment solutions to high-net-worth clients across Singapore and Greater China.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the bank's mutual fund platform, identifying investment opportunities, and supporting client portfolio construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop the bank's mutual fund product platform, including fund selection, monitoring, and product recommendations
- Conduct investment due diligence and ongoing reviews of traditional and alternative funds
- Provide fund recommendations, market intelligence, and model portfolio guidance to Relationship Managers and Investment Consultants
- Support Private Wealth Management clients through investment advisory and product positioning
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external asset managers to deliver investment insights, training sessions, and advisory communications
- Participate in regional fund initiatives and product development projects
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to enhance the bank's investment offering
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
- 3-5 years of experience in mutual fund product management, fund selection, or investment due diligence within a bank, private bank, asset manager, or wealth platform
- Solid understanding of mutual funds, with exposure to hedge funds or private market investments being advantageous
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience supporting Relationship Managers and conducting product training or client seminars
- Proactive, analytical, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills across internal teams and external partners
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin, with the ability to communicate in Traditional Chinese to support colleagues in Taiwan and clients across Greater China
