Our client is an established organisation in the education sector, committed to maintaining high standards of governance, quality, and regulatory compliance. They are currently seeking a Compliance Manager to oversee and strengthen their compliance framework and ensure adherence to relevant regulations and internal policies.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the organisation's compliance framework, policies, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements (e.g. SSG/EduTrust, PDPA, MOM, and other applicable regulations)
- Lead preparation and coordination for internal and external audits
- Develop, review, and implement compliance policies, SOPs, and control processes
- Monitor regulatory updates and assess impact on business operations
- Conduct regular compliance checks, risk assessments, and gap analysis
- Identify potential risks and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure compliance across operations, HR, and finance functions
- Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance requirements and best practices
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure audit-ready records at all times
- Liaise with external stakeholders such as auditors, regulators, and consultants
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Law, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, audit, or regulatory roles
- Experience in education, training, or regulated industries will be an advantage
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance practices
- Familiarity with PDPA, MOM regulations, or audit processes is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail with strong documentation skills
- Able to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders
