Job Description

The Company:
Aramco Trading was established as SaudiAramco's trading arm in 2011 under the approval of Saudi Aramco's Board ofDirectors. It established its headquarters in Al-Midra Tower in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia and have 5 other global offices in London, American, Singapore, Dubaiand Fujairah. With six offices currently operating worldwide, Aramco Trading has broader access to markets, a wider client base, a more talented and diversified workforce, and a more sophisticated and integrated global businessmodel. Today, the company is recognized globallyas a critical trading partner for refiners, shipping companies, financialinstitutions, end-users, and other product-trading companies.

The company trades across the barrel including Crude, Middle distillates, Lightdistillates, bulk petrochemicals, and polyolefin. Clean energy like LNG,Biofuels and Emissions are also part of the portfolio. In the last 2 years, the company has also grown to be a multi-commodities trading organisation and started trading Metals and Agricultural products.

The Function:
Responsible for physical and paper tradingactivities and operations within approved risk and resource limits supports the execution of the trading desk's strategy and its related tasks accountable for the trades and the impact to the profit and loss of the book as well as managing the associated risks with the trades.

Key Accountabilities:
. Review and adhere to trading strategy on dailybasis

. Monitor and adjust position based on risk andtrading limits

. Make trading decisions to maximise returnswithin company's policies and procedures

. Decide and negotiate deal validate it withOperations, Contract Administration and Settlement

. ETRM roles:

. input transactions and ship requests in ETRMsystem abiding by established procedures and manuals

. identify and correct mapping P&L andexposures in ETRM system

. Evaluate all open trading contracts andpositions identify the associated price exposures and develop a daily plan tohedge existing exposures with the derivatives desk

. Identify requirements for chartering and createship requests in ETRM system

. Keep up-to-date on market information andknowledge management, and reflect market insights in trading strategies andpositions

. Develop and mark all physical forward curvesrelated to the product, provide price information to Strategy and BusinessDevelopment Manager, and Supply Optimisation Specialist

. Provide market and counterparty insight for thecounterparty enlistment process

. Perform price discovery and provide data for themore liquid portion of the price curve of forward curves

. Work closely with product's scheduler /operationto ensure smooth logistics and operations for the traded product

. Check trades and confirmation to ensure accuracy

. Send new counter party requests to ComplianceDesk and support registration with proper documentation

Preparemarket reports, business plans and performance targets as required

Requirements:
. Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering,Finance, Economics or a related discipline

. More than 5 years of experience in directLPG physical third party and derivatives trading

. Well-informed of the world product demand andsupply, market dynamics, and arbitrage opportunities

. Well-connected with end-users and counterpartiesworldwide

. Industry knowledge: supply/demand fundamentalsof physical market, product grades and quality specifications, transportationinfrastructure, competitors, marine operations, third-party system parameters,standard terms and conditions of contracts, economics/drivers, understands thevalue of variations in specification, timing, and volume

. Trading knowledge: market direction/call,trading strategies, trading fundamentals, global markets, arbitrage, marketclimate, keeps up to date with international events and geo-political climate

. Financial trading knowledge: risk analysistechniques, hedging /speculative / price forecasting instruments, such as,derivatives, futures, options, OTC, and various credit instruments, economicevaluation and analysis, understands concepts such as NPV, value creation, andoption value

Goodworking knowledge of MS Office, trading system and price reporting software(Reuters, Bloomberg, Globalview)
