HR Manager, Alexandra area $7,000-$9,500
Charterhouse are supporting an SME Joint Venture in their search for their new HR Manager.
Reporting to the CEO, this role will offer lots of autonomy and the possibility to work from home 2 days per week.
This person will need to be hands on with HR Operations, plus able to lead the HR strategic direction of the business.
Responsibilities
- Leading the HR function in an individual contributor capacity for a headcount of less than 50
- Lead the review and HRIS implementation
- Manage end to end inhouse payroll
- Compensation and Benefits
- Talent management and development
- Leading the HR strategy and contributing to the business success and direction
- Lead Learning and Development initiatives and identify relevant programs
- Ensure the HR handbook is updated, and HR function is fully compliant
- Lead end to end talent acquisition including sourcing, interviewing and onboarding processes
- Manage performance and identify performance issues and work with leaders on improvements
- All other ad hoc HR and supporting duties as required
Attributes
- Ability to work independently and manage end to end HR with minimal supervision
- At least 10 years of HR exposure
- This is an urgent role so candidates with short notice or immediate availability would be preferred
- Bachelor's degree in HR or relevant field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
