Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior HR Manager - Singapore to join our team as the dedicated Country HR Lead for our Singapore logistics operations.

This position is a senior-level Individual Contributor role reporting to the Director People (SG & MY) and ensures the focused execution of our people strategies in this critical hub.

You will play a vital role in ensuring the effective and efficient management of human resources activities across Singapore, taking full ownership of the local HR function.

You will contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that align with the company's objectives and values, ensuring operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Key Accountabilities

  • Serve as the dedicated HR lead and primary subject matter expert for Singapore logistics, executing initiatives that support local business objectives.
  • Support the local execution of organizational change and talent transition programs, ensuring compliance with Singapore MOM guidelines and maintaining a focus on employee well-being.
  • Drive local HR operational excellence by taking full ownership of administrative processes to support business efficiency and operational goals.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle in Singapore independently, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding processes.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and Singapore Employment Act requirements to ensure compliance and fairness.
  • Manage local employee relations matters, mediating conflicts, and maintaining a positive working environment in adherence to local tripartite guidelines.
  • Coordinate and administer training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge within the Singapore workforce.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and reports for the country, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Manage compensation and benefits administration, including payroll coordination and benefits enrollment for Singapore employees.
  • Stay current with Singapore HR trends, best practices, and MOM legal developments to ensure the organization's practices remain competitive and compliant.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10-12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years as a Senior HR Business Partner or HR Manager in the Singapore market.
  • Strong expertise in hands-on HR Operations with a focus on process improvement and administrative accuracy.
  • Proven experience in facilitating workforce adjustments or organizational change within a corporate environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Singapore Employment Act, Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations, and tripartite guidelines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization as an independent lead.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite; experience with HR software (Oracle/SuccessFactors) is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
