The HR Intern will support the Human Resources team in day-to-day operations, recruitment, employee engagement, and HR administration. This role provides practical exposure to HR functions and processes, offering valuable learning and professional development for individuals interested in building a career in Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Selection
Assist in posting job advertisements on job portals and social media.
Screen resumes and shortlist candidates.
Coordinate interview scheduling and prepare interview materials. - HR Administration
Maintain and update employee records in HR systems and files.
Assist with preparation of HR letters, contracts, and documentation.
Support payroll and leave administration processes where required. - Employee Engagement
Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities and events.
Collect feedback and help prepare reports on engagement initiatives. - Learning & Development
Coordinate training sessions, track attendance, and compile evaluation feedback. - Compliance & Policy
Support HR team in ensuring compliance with HR policies and local labour laws.
Assist in internal audits and documentation checks. - General Support
Participate in HR projects and provide administrative and logistical support as needed.
Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned by the HR team.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- Strong interest in HR practices and employee relations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
