Responsibilities
Strategic HR Business Partnering
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with line managers to design and execute HR strategies that directly support business objectives and workforce needs.
- Advisory Support: Act as a dedicated HRBP, providing expert counsel on workforce planning, talent development, and employee engagement strategies.
- Change Management: Lead internal communications and facilitate smooth transitions during organizational restructuring, leadership changes, or new HR initiatives.
Operations & Total Rewards
- Payroll & Tax: Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing, including CPF contributions and statutory tax filings (IR8A/IR21).
- Compensation & Benefits: Administer C&B programs and lead the annual salary review and performance appraisal cycles.
- Policy Development: Formulate and refine HR policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to drive process efficiency.
Talent Management & Employee Relations
- Full-Cycle HR: Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions, from talent acquisition and onboarding to learning and development (L&D).
- Industrial Relations: Maintain a productive partnership with the Union, ensuring business alignment and supporting Collective Agreement (CA) negotiations.
- Conflict Resolution: Manage employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and general HR inquiries to maintain a positive workplace culture.
Compliance& Stakeholder Management
- Regulatory Governance: Ensure strict adherence to local labor laws (Employment Act) and maintain high standards of data integrity and PDPA compliance.
- External Liaison: Build and sustain collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external government/non-government agencies.
- Administrative Oversight: Provide general HR administrative support and manage office-related matters as required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in HR Generalist roles, with specific expertise in payroll, recruitment, and employee engagement.
- Thorough understanding of local labour legislation and statutory compliance requirements.
- Expert in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Prior experience with SAP SuccessFactors and TimeSoft payroll software is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively across all levels.
- A strong customer-centric mindset with a high degree of responsiveness to employee needs.
