As a Legal Counsel you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, vendor agreements and service agreements.
- Conduct Legal Due Diligence and review of Company's contractual commitment and liabilities.
- Support contract administration and provide advice to project teams on issues such as contract interpretation, contractual claims, delays and variations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Handle dispute resolution, litigation and arbitration cases related to trade contracts and business operations.
- Evaluate and manage legal risks associated with contractual activities and provide strategic advice to mitigate potential liabilities.
- Support dispute resolution and litigation and liaise with external legal counsel and regulators where required.
- Monitor regulatory development and provide advice on their potential impact on business operations.
- Provide legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters
- Drive compliance programs, policies, and training within the Company.
Requirements
- Degree in Law or equivalent ,called to Bar
- 5 years of relevant experience in corporate/commercial law.
