Overview
PvX Partners is a global financial services platform that provides non-dilutive capital to gaming and consumer apps worldwide. Our wholly-owned subsidiary, PvX Capital, is a fund management company licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
We are looking for a Head of Finance in Singapore to serve as the financial backbone of our operations. In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of accounting, financial reporting, financial planning and tax for a rapidly scaling business.
You will work closely with the CEO and leadership team, while building and shaping a scalable finance function to support PvX's next phase of growth.
Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting operations and lead the month-end/year-end closing processes
Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and tax authorities
Build, document and improve internal accounting policies, controls and SOPs to ensure rigorous governance as the company grows
Oversee the monthly flow of funds, including managing the disbursements of capital to clients and tracking of repayments
Develop, implement, and continuously improve financial controls, policies, and SOPs to support a growing and regulated business
Drive finance transformation and automation initiatives, improving efficiency in reconciliation, reporting, and data workflows
Prepare monthly management reports to provide visibility into business performance
Support budgeting process, monitoring actual performance against targets and providing variance analysis
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or a related field; CPA / CA / ACCA qualification is highly desirable
4-7 years of relevant experience, ideally from Big 4 audit and/or high-growth startup environments
Hands-on experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and audit processes
Strong knowledge of SFRS and tax regulations
Advanced excel skills and experience with modern accounting software
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders
Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently
Fluency in Mandarin is highly preferred to effectively liaise with key partners and stakeholders
