Role Overview:
The Finance Head will oversee Aprisium's end-to-end financial operations, multi-country compliance, corporate governance, and strategic financial planning. The role requires close collaboration with senior management, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders to provide insightful financial guidance, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the company's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting:
- Lead full-set accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and cash flow management.
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to enhance financial efficiency across the business.
Multi-Country Operations & Compliance:
- Manage financial operations for Aprisium's multi-country presence across ASEAN and Scandinavia, ensuring compliance with Singaporean and international financial standards.
- Coordinate with local finance teams and external auditors in each country to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare and submit GST returns, corporate tax filings based on company profits, and other regulatory filings as required.
Corporate Governance & Stakeholder Management:
- Lead corporate secretarial responsibilities, maintain statutory records, and prepare documents for board meetings and AGMs.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with ACRA and other relevant authorities.
- Liaise with shareholders, board members, and key stakeholders to provide accurate and timely financial and regulatory updates.
Strategic Planning & Risk Management:
- Support financial modeling, business planning, and fundraising initiatives aligned with the company's strategic goals.
- Conduct financial risk assessments, including foreign exchange exposure, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Provide financial insights to cross-functional teams to support operational and strategic initiatives.
Leadership & Mentoring:
- Mentor and guide junior finance staff, promoting accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field ACCA/CPA required.
- 5+ years of finance experience, preferably in DeepTech, technology, or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong knowledge of full-set accounting, corporate tax, GST, and statutory compliance in Singapore.
- Experience managing multi-country finance operations and corporate secretarial responsibilities is preferred.
- Proficiency with financial systems such as Odoo or Xero is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
