Job Description

Job Summary

The General Manager will develop and execute the strategic vision for Bossini in Singapore market, driving sales growth, operational efficiency, and brand consistency across all stores. S/He will lead high-performing teams and ensure financial and operational KPIs are met. This role requires strategic foresight, exceptional leadership, and a deep understanding of Singapore's retail dynamics to elevate our brand's presence.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Drive Strategic Vision: Develop and execute business strategies, including annual budget planning for sales, gross profit, OTB, commissions, uniforms, headcount, and retail supplies.
  • Lead Sales Performance: Set monthly store sales targets, daily forecasts, and promotional campaigns to maximize revenue and achieve objectives.
  • Oversee Store Operations: Manage daily operations, including sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory, and compliance with company policies.
  • Optimize Merchandising: Handle product ordering, allocation, pricing, stock consolidation, and performance reviews to maximize sell-through.
  • Enhance Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels to meet demand, minimize overstock/stockouts, and clear past-season inventory via atrium/events.
  • Analyze and Report Performance: Analyze sales data and trends to inform pricing and promotions generate weekly, monthly, and yearly reports, including P&L reviews.
  • Lead Operational Governance: Chair weekly operational meetings and monthly/quarterly store in-charge meetings to review KPIs and action plans.
  • Develop Talent: Manage the team to mentor and train staff at all levels, conduct customer service/product training, performance appraisals, and groom high-potential talent for advancement.
  • Foster Customer Excellence: Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly to uphold Bossini's brand image and loyalty.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Management, Retail, Fashion, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of retail management experience in mass fashion or apparel, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Exceptional leadership to guide diverse teams across all levels.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset to drive sales, optimize inventory, and interpret market data.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and adept in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous with attention to detail in financial and operational oversight.
  • A good understanding of the apparel retail industry and market changes is essential.
