ANTA was established in 1991 while ANTA Sports Products Limited, a widely recognized global sportswear company, was listed on the Main Board of HKEx in 2007 (Stock Codes: 2020 (HKD counter) and 82020 (RMB counter)). The mission of the Company is to bring the transcendent sports spirit into everyone's life. ANTA Sports principally engages in R&D, design, manufacturing, marketing and sales of professional sports products including footwear, apparel and accessories. By embracing an all-round brand portfolio including ANTA, FILA, DESCENTE, KOLON SPORT, MAIA ACTIVE and JACK WOLFSKIN, etc., ANTA Sports aims to unlock the potential of both the mass and high-end sportswear markets. Responsibilities
- Responsible to deliver the annual objectives by the company in terms of sales target, margin, profitability, inventory management and business development.
- Develop strategic plans that will help the company maintain an economically healthy status, produce high returns and set-up long-term growth.
- Manage the daily business operations and set a work culture that is aligned to the organization's objectives
- Drive the company's business development targets for retail /wholesale / online.
- Develop overall business functions in all areas (Marketing, Retail Merchandising, Sales and Operations, Accounting/Finance, Human Resource, IT.
- Communicate business goals to stakeholders and external parties.
- Forecasting, analyze and manage regional and China reports as required.
- Train, develop and motivate department heads to achieve department targets and goals.
- Evaluate, assess and continuous improvement of operations and financial performance.
- Manage the company budget and P&L.
- Provide regional team with regular market trends and intelligence feedback.
- Undertake other duties and responsibility as may assign by the Management from time to time or as when necessary for the effective realizations of the job purpose.
- Notwithstanding the above functions, additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned to you from time to time by the Management.
Requirements
- Graduate of a bachelor's degree in any business related course. MBA degree an advantage
- At least 8 to 10 years previous experience in the same capacity as general manager
- At least 5 years previous work experience in a retail setting
- With proven track record in successful management of profit and loss within a business unit
- Coordinate and communicate clearly between local department heads and regional team
- Leadership, decisiveness, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Visioning, aligning, prioritizing abilities
- Creative problem solving, strategic planning, business planning, decision making skills
- Passionate on sports is a must
