Job Description

Position Summary

The General Manager shall be responsible for leading the Company's consultancy and business development activities, with a focus on project coordination, stakeholder management, strategic planning, and client advisory services.

The role requires strong industry knowledge and experience in construction, building, infrastructure, and development-related sectors to support the Company's consultancy engagements and regional business collaborations. The General Manager will also support the Company in expanding regional business networks, including facilitating collaborations and business opportunities between China and Singapore.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Client Advisory

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to support the Company's consultancy services and business growth.
  • Provide advisory support and practical solutions to clients on project-related and commercial matters.
  • Conduct market research and monitor industry developments, trends, and business opportunities.
  • Assist clients in evaluating project feasibility, planning requirements, and operational considerations.
  • Support the Company in identifying opportunities for regional expansion and cross-border business collaborations, particularly involving China and Singapore markets.

Project Coordination & Consultancy

  • Coordinate and support consultancy projects relating to construction, building, infrastructure, and development sectors.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, engineers, and external stakeholders regarding project requirements and progress.
  • Provide recommendations on project planning, resource coordination, and implementation strategies.
  • Support preparation of reports, proposals, presentations, and consultancy documentation.

Business Development & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, business partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential collaborations within Singapore and overseas markets.
  • Participate in meetings, negotiations, conferences, and business discussions representing the Company.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between local and international parties for consultancy and development-related projects.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining business relationships with partners and clients from China for potential collaborations and market development initiatives in Singapore.

Leadership & Professional Support

  • Provide leadership and professional guidance in managing consultancy engagements and client relationships.
  • Support the Company in maintaining high service standards and professional practices.
  • Ensure consultancy activities and project coordination are carried out efficiently and professionally.

Requirements& Qualifications

  • Minimum 8-10 years of managerial or senior-level experience in construction, building, infrastructure, property development, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of project coordination, consultancy services, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience in handling commercial discussions, project planning, and client advisory matters.
  • Familiarity with regional business collaboration and cross-border project coordination will be advantageous.
  • Good communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with local and overseas stakeholders across different industries and business environments.
  • Experience in regional or international projects, particularly involving China-related business networks, will be advantageous.
