General Manager, Operations (Marine & Offshore)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall marine operations, ensuring smooth execution across all vessels/projects
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, cost control, and service delivery
• Oversee daily operations, including vessel performance, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and industry standards
• Manage and mentor operations teams, driving performance and accountability
• Liaise with clients, charterers, and key stakeholders to ensure service excellence and strong relationships
• Monitor budgets, P&L, and cost performance, identifying areas for optimization
• Handle escalation of operational issues and provide strategic solutions

Requirements

• Degree in Maritime Studies, Engineering, Logistics, or related field
• 10-15 years of maritime experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong background in vessel operations / fleet management
• Proven experience in team leadership and stakeholder management
• Solid understanding of commercial operations, contracts, and cost control
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, decision-driven environment
