Job Description

As General Manager, you will lead Aspirebuild's construction operations, driving strategic growth, ensuring project delivery on time and budget, and managing teams to uphold quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Job duties

  • Lead construction projects to achieve timely delivery within budget and meet quality standards
  • Develop and execute business strategies to enhance growth and operational efficiency
  • Oversee daily operations including project planning, resource allocation, and procurement management
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies throughout projects
  • Monitor project progress, costs, and risks implement corrective actions to mitigate issues
  • Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities to facilitate smooth project execution
  • Manage financial performance by budgeting, controlling costs, and optimizing profitability
  • Oversee contract management processes including negotiations and dispute resolution
  • Lead and develop multiple project teams to ensure high performance and professional growth

Job Requirements

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in construction management
  • Proven track record managing large-scale construction projects, including planning, execution, and resource management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to supervise multiple project teams
  • Good knowledge of local construction regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices
  • Strong financial acumen in budgeting, cost control, and contract management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese to liaise with overseas counterparts as required
