Job Summary
Lead the strategic development and international trading operations of petroleum and refined oil products. Manage procurement, supply chain, financial planning, and compliance while representing the company in negotiations and reporting to the Board.
Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute strategic development plans to drive company growth and market expansion
- Develop and manage international petroleum and refined oil trading operations to optimize business performance
- Oversee procurement, supply chain, logistics, and risk management systems to ensure operational efficiency and cost control
- Manage financial planning, budgeting, and cost control to support sustainable business operations
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers to enhance business partnerships
- Ensure compliance with Singapore laws and regulations to mitigate legal and operational risks
- Represent the company in commercial negotiations and execute contracts to secure favorable terms
- Report operational performance and key metrics to the Board of Directors to inform strategic decisions
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Minimum 8 years of work experience, including at least 5 years in management roles within petrochemical, energy, or commodities trading industries
- Experience in international procurement or trade management, with knowledge of Incoterms and letter of credit operations
- Supply chain coordination experience, including transportation scheduling and logistics optimization
- Team management experience overseeing a cumulative team size of at least 20 personnel
- Proven track record of quantifiable achievements such as procurement cost reduction and efficiency improvements
- Bilingual working proficiency: native Chinese and professional English
