Job Summary
Lead the strategic development and international business expansion of petroleum and refined oil trading. Manage operations, compliance, and team performance to drive growth and ensure alignment with company vision and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute strategic development plans to align business objectives with the company's vision
- Report operational performance and business development outcomes regularly to the Board of Directors
- Develop and manage international petroleum and refined oil trading business across Asian regional markets, including Southeast and Northeast Asia
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with clients and suppliers to support business growth
- Represent the company in commercial negotiations and finalize key business contracts
- Oversee procurement, supply chain, logistics, and risk management systems to ensure efficient, compliant operations
- Supervise financial planning, budgeting, and cost control to optimize resource allocation
- Ensure company operations comply with Singapore laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Act honestly and diligently, prioritizing the company's best interests at all times
- Ensure internal governance meets corporate compliance requirements and disclose potential conflicts of interest promptly
- Foster a positive organizational culture and promote professional development within the team
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's degree or above (CHSI or official authentication required)
- Minimum 8 years of work experience, including at least 5 years in management within petrochemical, energy, or commodities trading industries
- Experience managing full-process international procurement or trade, with knowledge of Incoterms, letter of credit operations, and trade compliance
- Supply chain coordination experience, including transportation scheduling, logistics optimization, and cost control
- Team management experience overseeing a cumulative team size of at least 20 personnel
- Ability to demonstrate quantifiable achievements such as procurement cost reduction, transportation efficiency improvement, or market share growth from new product development
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in petrochemical industry procurement management
- Market analysis and risk assessment skills, with proven success in avoiding operational or legal risks
- Working proficiency in both Chinese and English languages to support regional business operations
- Familiarity with Singapore's business environment and relevant regulations
