- Position : Finance Manager (Must Be from Marine Industry/CPA/ACCA) -ALL WELCOME
- Location : Beach Road (Nearest MRT -11 minute walk- Nicoll Highway MRT)
- Working hours : 5 days / Monday - Friday - 9.00am - 6.00
- Salary (Commensurate with experience): Salary up to $7000 + Performance Bonus + 16 days Annual Leave
- Duration : Permanent
- Industry : Marine & Offshore Shipyard
Main Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and accounting standards (e.g. IFRS/GAAP).
- Prepare and submit accounts schedule and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Oversee the full financial cycle including AR/AP and all accounting processes.
- Handle bank entries / bank reconciliation / GL entries / payments / financial schedules etc
- GST Submission and claims
- Monitor foreign exchange exposures and implement hedging strategies if required.
- Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Monitor financial performance and prepare variance analysis reports.
- Provide strategic recommendations to management based on financial data.
- Ensure adherence to tax regulations, corporate policies, and legal requirements.
- Coordinate audits and regulatory inspections.
- Setting KPI's and making sure timely delivery for all tasks for the accounting team.
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance team.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Partner with other departments to evaluate to improve company processes and policies and cost-saving activities
- Assist with other ad-hoc financial tasks and projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field: CPA or ACCA qualification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the marine industry.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore financial regulations and tax laws.
- Proficiency in ERP accounting software, SAP experience will be given preference
